With a new arena and a second wave of artists, Bestival is set to be a smashing finish to summer 2013. The Port is Bestival’s a new addition to its fantastic architecture including the Wishing Tree, Ambient Forest and Bollywood Bus.
To mark their 10th birthday, Bestival have created The Port; a landlocked harbour with HMS Bestival as its centrepiece surrounded by a pier. It’s also been released that Knife Party, DJ EZ, TODDLA T Sound, The 2 Bears, Jaguar Skills, Phat Phil Cooper and Russ Cuban will grace The Port with their presence. Joining previously announced Port headliners Richie Hawtin, Carl Cox and Annie Mac Presents & many more incredible DJs for a voyage of discovery in the fantasy land of Bestival. Commenting on his Friday night headline slot, Richie Hawtin said: “I’m excited to return to Bestival this year for the 10th anniversary. I’m not sure what I’m more excited for – headlining The Port, or having the chance to hear my brother Matthew play again inside Bestival’s incredible Wishing Tree.”
